If you like matcha, you’ll LOOOOOVE these Morning Matcha Energy Balls.

These morning matcha energy balls are made mostly with cashew butter, which is filled with copper, phosphorus, manganese, magnesium, and zinc.

These essential nutrients help to keep your body and mind in tip-top shape to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Cashew butter is also a great source of healthy fat, so you’ll stay full longer, have less cravings, and help your body absorb fat-soluble vitamins.

Matcha is also a pretty amazing ingredient in its own right.

First off, it’s packed with antioxidants to help prevent cancer and other diseases.

Matcha has also been shown to boost metabolism and lower blood pressure.

And it contains nutrients like vitamin C, zinc, and selenium.

Plus it can can even lift your mood and increase concentration, which are two things you want in your life if you’re an ambitious mama!

And to make these morning matcha energy balls even better, I’ve included hemp seeds, chia seeds, and bee pollan to add fiber, help digestion, and reduce inflammation.

These morning matcha energy balls are so good you’ll want to snack on them all day.

But it’s best to keep them as a morning treat.

Because although it’s less than coffee, matcha will give you a bit of a caffeine kick, and you don’t want to mess with your circadian rhythm (a.k.a. sleep cycle).

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

1 cup raw unsalted cashew butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp chia seeds
4 tbsp hemp seeds + 4 tbsp for dipping
2 tbsp bee pollan
4 tbsp matcha + 1 tbsp for dipping

Instructions

Prepare 4 tbsp of hemp seeds + 1 tbsp matcha powder on a plate, mix well and set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. Roll mixture into 1-2 inch spheres with your hands, rolling in hemp + matcha mixture to seal in stickiness.
