I couldn’t have gotten as far as I have without the books, podcasts, and mentors on this essential mompreneur resource list.
It started with mental health for me, as I studied psychology as an undergrad.
I then moved on to the body, became a yoga instructor, and solidified my obsession with mind-body wellness by spending 5 years getting my master’s degree in Chinese medicine.
(Yes, you read that right and it’s not a typo. 5 years. As much as a doctorate program, but that a story for another time.)
And as I dove deeper and deeper into mind-body wellness my ambition only grew.
Since then I’ve developed a BIG vision for the impact I want to make in this world.
And while I love making the people around me happy, I don’t just want to influence the people I come in contact with every day.
I want to help women around the globe to become the healthiest, most vibrant version of themselves, so they can light up, uplift, and inspire everyone in their lives, too.
When I started studying mind-body wellness and medicine, though, I had no idea that I wanted to create such a big ripple in the world.
It was only by collecting the teachings of dozens of mentors that I was able to realize my dream.
These mentors came to me in many ways.
Some of them are old friends.
Some I met in school.
But truth be told, I’ve never met the vast majority of the people who have influenced me most.
So how have I learned from them?
Well, my bookshelves are packed, I’ve listened to thousands of hours of podcasts (yes, literally), and I’ve even watched the occasional video (though it’s not my favorite way to get my information).
And lot of the information I’ve consumed has been helpful in one way or another.
But there are a few resources that have risen above the rest and enriched me beyond measure.
Some have even completely changed my trajectory in life!
So today I want to share my essential mompreneur resource list with you, on the off-chance that they’ll help you as much as they’ve helped me.
(In the interest of full disclosure, if you click on one of the book links and decide to purchase through it I will get a small percentage as an affiliate. But I do encourage you to check out these books at your local library first to determine if they’re something you’d like to have on your own shelf.)
Natural + Healthy Lifestyle
If you know me, you know I believe that health is the backbone of success.
Because without taking care of your physical and mental health, you’ll never have the energy, stamina, and confidence you need to do all the things you want to do, and do them well.
Some of the resources I’ve listed here will simply and straight-forwardly help you figure out how to get the most nutritional bang out of your food.
Others will open up a whole new world for you in ways I can’t describe in this short intro.
All of them will make your life better.
